Root of Nightmares is the second Raid in Destiny history to feature the Cabal as the main enemy, the first being Leviathan . This is also the third Raid activity that has the Cabal as the central enemy, after Leviathan and Spire of Stars. Root of Nightmares has been called "the Crota's End of D2" due to the simple mechanics. Nezarec’s Whisper plays best with Destiny 2 Arc 3.0 builds, where it can trigger Amplified and benefit from fragments like Spark of Beacons. Still, it can be pretty useful even on other subclasses.
